We are still in the midst of a global pandemic and the health and safety of our members, friends, colleagues and clients are extremely important to us.
Please do not attend any FAMP MIAMI Chapter in-person meeting or event if, within the two weeks prior to the meeting/event:
you have tested positive for COVID-19; you have been in close contact (as defined by the CDC) with someone who’s tested positive for COVID-19; you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 (as identified by the CDC); or you are immunocompromised or otherwise at higher risk for contracting or experiencing health complications from COVID-19 or other communicable diseases.
If you elect to transfer your participation to the following year, $200 will be collected for expenses and the rest transferred.
The FAMP MIAMI CHAPTER will be following applicable guidance from health officials to help minimize the risk of spread of COVID-19 or any communicable disease at all of its in-person meetings and events. However, because of the possibility of asymptomatic transmission, we cannot prevent the presence of the virus entirely. If you attend any FAMP MIAMI Chapter in-person meeting or event you are doing so voluntarily and with an understanding that you may become exposed to, contract or spread COVID-19 as a result. Everyone who chooses to attend any in-person FAMP SW Chapter meeting or event does so voluntarily and at his/her own risk.
The FAMP MIAMI Chapter strongly encourages all in-person event attendees, prior to and while at the meeting/event, to practice proper social distancing and good hygiene, and to follow other applicable recommendations from health officials.
