In accordance with the Miami Chapter of the Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals by-laws, the chapter is hereby announcing our upcoming election for the 2020 Board of Directors.  All Professional members are eligible to vote in the upcoming election which is scheduled to take place on January 22nd, at Novecento Restaurant at 5:00 pm. Additional nominations may be made from the floor of the meeting.

The slate of officers that is presented by the nominating committee is as follows:

President:  Orlando Diaz
Vice President:  Ed London
Treasurer:  Jose Blanchard
Secretary:  Jessica Guzman

The following By-Laws change will be voted on at the membership meeting:
Section 6. Nominating Committee – The committee chair shall be the Immediate Past President of the Chapter. The Committee shall consist of not less than three (3) active Past Presidents of the Chapter and the President-Elect-. If three Past Presidents are not available to serve, the Chairperson shall appoint committee members from the current Board of Directors. Individuals serving on the nominating committee shall not be eligible for nomination the year served nominated by the nominating committee. Individuals serving on the committee shall not be eligible if a family member or spouse is seeking nomination for the year served. The committee may nominate one or more persons for each of the offices of President, First Vice President and Second Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and State Directors. The report of the nominating committee shall be given to the Board of Directors at the next meeting of the Board, and to each voting member at his last physical or electronic address at least 15 days prior to the annual meeting.
